Day 3 overnight: Golden Rice Hotel - Premium Deluxe
Day 3 description:
Meet and greet at your hotel at 8.00am. Depart for the 2-hour drive through rural northern Vietnam to the site of Vietnam's first capital, Hoa Lu. Visit the temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-80) and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009). The ancient Hoa Lu Citadel (most of which has since been destroyed) once covered an area of three square kilometers. If time permits after visiting Hoa Lu take a half-hour walk up one of the surrounding limestone karst hills, the climb is rewarding with spectacular views. In the late morning depart for Tam Coc Town for a Vietnamese lunch, along the way stop to take photographs of local villages and the stunning landscape. After lunch board the small sampan. As the boat gently slices through the water notice the enormous limestone karsts jutting out from the green rice fields giving rise to the area’s other name, 'Halong on Land'. Should you feel adventurous, climb up to Bich Dong Pagoda on nearby Ngu Nhac Mountain, dating to 1428 and comprised of three structures: Ha, Trung, and Thuong Pagodas, in ascending order. Return by sampan to Tam Coc town before returning to Hanoi.
Trang An Boat Option (in replace of Tam Coc): Trang An is a less visited nature reserve similar to Tam Coc. Limestone hills surround a peaceful river which passes through a series of caves (one which takes 15-minutes to pass through in darkness). An 'eco tourism' area, the only interruptions here are the sound of birds and the gentle paddle of the oar upon the crystal clear river.

Meet and greet at your hotel at 8.00am. Today we discover Hanoi, Vietnam's gracious capital. Hanoi has been the political and historical centre of Vietnam for almost 1000 years and has a wealth of sights to explore. Heavily influenced by French colonial architecture, Hanoi is both historically beautiful and a vibrant capital city sure to entice you. We begin our Hanoi experience at the Old Quarter, cycling along beautiful tree-lined boulevards until we get to Ba Dinh Square, site of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and where Ho Chi Minh first declared independence from French rule in 1945. Ho Chi Minh is without question one of the great figures of twentieth century history and this morning we'll take time to visit the 'Ho Chi Minh Quarter' for a look at the life of the father of modern Vietnam. We visit the humble house on stilts from which 'Uncle Ho', as he is affectionately known, ruled Vietnam until his death in 1969. We'll also view the Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda and continue our tour by visiting Hanoi's first university - the Temple of Literature - dating back to 1070. This historical centre of learning is dedicated to Confucian worship.
* Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. On these days, visitors will tour Hoa Lo Prison.
You will be transferred to Hanoi airport for your flight from Hanoi to Siem Riep.
Note: Flight ticket is not included in the price. We are delighted to book flight ticket with price varied from 60usd - 100usd or more per oneway economy ticket. Subject to availability and airfare subject to change.
Welcome to Siem Riep!

Day 5 title: Angkor full day
Day 5 meals: B
Day 5 overnight: La Niche D’ Angkor Boutique - Deluxe room (for package only)
Day 5 description:
The temples of Angkor represent six hundred years (802-1432) of Khmer civilisation - one of Asia's greatest kingdoms. You will dedicate the whole day to exploring the most magnificent of the Angkor temples.
The adventure begins with a pre dawn departure from the hotel (4.30 to 5.00am depending on the time of year) for sunrise outside Angkor Wat. You will board your tuk-tuks (this is a form of local transport with a small motorised cart, a roof and comfortable seating) for the short ride to Angkor Wat and the little visited Eastern side of the great temple. Creep through the temple in darkness (please bring a torch) past the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world before soaking up the atmosphere of dawn at Angkor from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. Then you will venture deep into the central chambers and up to the upper terraces of this truly great temple, spending a thorough two hours exploring here. Conclude your touring at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (take away from your hotel), and a short rest. Then move onto the West gate of the walled city of Angkor Thom and marvel at the eerie stone heads and evocative bas-reliefs of the Bayon temple and the Terraces of the Elephants and Leper King. Lunch break and then set out again by Tuk-Tuk to jungle-enveloped Ta Prohm, one of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor. Once home to 2,740 monks, Ta Prohm today looks much as it did in the early 1850's, when French explorer Henri Mouhot rediscovered this crumbling site. The jungle enshrouded ruins at this special temple are reminiscent of Indiana Jones and were used in the filming of Tomb Raider. The corridors and temple buildings make a great place for a wander or a game of hide and seek! Spend the rest of the afternoon at Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, renowned for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. Angkor Wat was a temple dedicated to the Hindu God - Vishnu. It was constructed over a period of 30 years by King Suryavarman II, who reigned between 1131 and 1151. Depending on your choice, we can view sunset from Angkor Wat or Bakheng. Return to your hotel.
Day 6 title: Tonle Sap Great Lake - Departure Siem Riep
Day 6 meals: B

See fishing nets being mended, children swimming and playing, floating pigpens and even crocodile enclosures. Return to Siem Riep.
This is the last day of your Vietnam and Cambodia trip. We know that you will have many beautiful memories of Vietnam and Cambodia.
