Under Vietnam's updated visa policy, effective August 15, the visa-free stay for citizens of 13 countries has been extended from 15 days to 45 days. Additionally, citizens of 12 other countries enjoy visa exemptions ranging from 14 to 90 days.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has directed the ministries of public security and foreign affairs to explore the possibility of expanding visa exemptions to additional countries as part of efforts to stimulate tourism recovery.
