Tiim® Travel Visa respect your privacy of personal information that we collect and we are committed to manage that information to ensure it is kept private and secure in a responsible manner. We ensure to the extent possible that our agents and service providers are aware of our and their respective obligations.

We will only collect and hold personal information that is necessary for us to have to attend to your travel and related needs. This will include such information as your name, age, address, contact details, gender, employment, credit card details and other relevant information. If making a booking with us, additional information will be required for operational reasons.
 
We will collect the personal information directly from you.
 
Where practical, you will be advised of the purpose for which we are collecting the information.
 
3. Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
 
We only use the personal information collected principally for the purpose of assisting you in your travel related matters. The information you give helps us provide you with personalized service. When you supply information about yourself for specific purposes, we use the information for that purpose only.
 
Tiim® Travel Visa may disclose personal information to other members within the company where necessary to fulfill our purposes.
 
We may also disclose your personal information to third parties (contractors to whom we contract out certain services) for the purpose for which the information was collected.
 
For example, we currently engage third party contractors to:
 
• Provide transport, including flights
• Organize and operate tours
• Provide software and hardware application hosting services
 
In these situations we prohibit the third party contractor from using personal information about you except for the specific purpose for which we supply it.
Other than the above we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless disclosure is either necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorized or required by law, reasonably necessary to enforce the law or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity.

We endeavor to ensure that information we hold about you is accurate, complete and up-to-date whenever we collect, use or disclose it. To assist us to keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date, please also advise us of any changes as they occur.

Your personal information is held securely and we take steps to protect it from misuse and loss, and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. Some of these steps include:
 
• Physical access controls to the information where information is kept.

We only retain information that is necessary and relevant to our operations. We retain most information relating to you for at least seven years in order to meet legal and business requirements. Once information is no longer required, we arrange for it to be destroyed in a secure manner.
 
6. Choice to opt out
 
If you have registered to receive communications from us and later change your mind, you may contact us to have your name removed from our distributions lists. Our e-newsletter gives you the option to unsubscribe via a link at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, you can contact us via email.
 
7. Anonymity
 
Our operational and legal obligations will generally require that you identify yourself to us in order for us to provide you with travel services.
 
8. Transfer of information overseas
 
We may transfer to people in foreign countries any of your personal information to fulfill the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement (e.g. international offices of Tiim® Travel Visa, airlines, hotels, tour operators and ground handlers).
In the majority of cases the transfer of the information will be necessary for the fulfillment of our obligations.
 
9. Anonymous information collected
 
In order to ensure our websites are relevant and appropriate to the majority of users, anonymous click-stream information is collected from every visitor. This includes pages viewed, date and time and browser type. IP numbers are used to determine domain type and in some cases, geographic region. We do not make any association between this information and a visitor’s identity.
 
10. Site cookies
 
Tiim® Travel Visa uses cookies as you visit pages on our websites to facilitate some functions such as making a booking or entering a competition. Cookies contain anonymous information only and are never used to retrieve any information about your identity.

When you provide us with personal information about other individuals, we rely on you to have made them aware that you will or may provide their information to us, the purposes we use it for, the types of third parties we disclose it to and how they can access it (as described in this document). If it is sensitive information we rely on you to have obtained their consent to the above. If you have not done either of these things, you must tell us before you provide the relevant information. 
 
If we give you personal information, you and your representatives must only use it for the purposes we agree to.
