Tokyo - Travel from Japan to Vietnam will partially resume this week, Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said Tuesday, marking the first step in easing travel restrictions aimed at stemming the spread of the novel coronavirus.
HANOI, 24 June 2020: Only Vietnamese nationals, foreigners on diplomatic or official business, and highly skilled workers are currently allowed to travel to Vietnam, the official website Vietnam Tourism reported 23 June.
The government yesterday informed Vietnam regarding its decision to lift the ban on cross-border movement via borders shared with the country but said prevention guidelines remain in place to mitigate risks of coronavirus transmission.
