People who entered Vietnam from March 1 under the visa waiver program, e-visa or tourism visa are eligible to stay or leave without paying any fees.
Vietnam has lifted the 14-day quarantine for foreign experts, investors, managers, and diplomats entering the country for less than 14 days.
Vietnam currently provides an automatic extension of temporary stay through August 31, 2020, for foreigners who entered Vietnam with a visa exemption certificate, e-visa, or tourist visa on or after March 1, 2020, and intend to depart Vietnam during the period of extension (by August 31, 2020).
Vietnam’s Immigration Department announced another automatic visa extension until August 31 for foreigners stuck in the country due to the pandemic.
At this beginning of July, Vietnam will retrieve the e-visa issue for citizens from 80 countries after more than 3-month closing border due to COVID-19 outbreak.
