— Vietnam logged no new case of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday morning, with the national tally remaining at 420 infections. The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control reported that the health of the 416th and 418th patients, two of the latest local transmission cases in the country, has turned worse.
 
— Nguyen Van Hai, director of Quang Nam Province’s Department of Health, on Sunday evening said that 25 people who are being quarantined in Hoi An City for being in close contact with the 416th and 418th COVID-19 cases in the central city of Da Nang had all tested negative for the coronavirus.
 
— A Chinese national has been arrested in Da Nang for helping people enter Vietnam illegally, said Major General Vu Xuan Vien, director of the Da Nang Department of Police.
 
— The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) will soon grant permission for airlines to maximize the number of domestic flights from and to Da Nang to quickly bring tourists back to their hometown amid new developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, head of the CAAV Dinh Viet Thang has said.
