Quang Ninh promotes local tourism in Dak Lak Province

NDO – Quang Ninh Province promoted its destinations and tourism stimulus programmes for 2020 at a conference held in Buon Ma Thuot City, in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak, on June 12.

At the conference, Director of the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Tourism Pham Ngoc Thuy introduced the province’s tourism stimulus policies for 2020, such as 100% free of charge entry for visiting Ha Long Bay, Yen Tu relic site and Quang Ninh Museum from May 15-31 and on June 1, Jun 29, July 9, July 27, August 19, September 2, October 20, November 20 and December 22; and discounts of 50% on tickets to the above destinations within June and July.
 
In addition, visitors to Quang Ninh via Van Don international airport will be free to visit Ha Long Bay and Yen Tu relic site as well as use free shuttle buses from the airport to Uong Bi City, where the Yen Tu relic is located.
 
The airlines that launch air routes to Van Don Airport will receive the support in opening their offices and branches as well as implementing communication activities.
 
Quang Ninh also promoted new and high-quality tourism products, including the Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh Mineral Spring Resort, Sunworld Ha Long Complex, FLC golf course, and a high-quality high-speed train connecting Ha Long with Co To Island, among others.
 
The number of visitors to Quang Ninh Province reached 14,005 million in 2019, including 5,749 million foreigners. The locality’s revenue from tourism was VND29.488 trillion, an increase of 25% over 2018.
