Vietnam imperial city of Hue welcome tourists back

The central province of Thua Thien-Hue has given the green signal for the resumption of all culture, sports and tourism activities from September 12, 2020, after several days of suspension due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

This was part of the contents listed in an announcement by the Thua Thien-Hue’s People Committee on September 11 based on the meeting between the provincial chairman Phan Ngoc Tho and the Thua Thien-Hue Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
 
According to the Saigon Times, religious ceremonies, wedding parties and the like will also be allowed again from September 12, while students at all levels can begin going to school from September 14.
 
Phan Ngoc Tho said the latest decision was issued to ensure the socio-economic development of Thua Thien-Hue this year.
 
In the latest press release by the Thua Thien-Hue Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on September 11, it said that the province has so far found no Covid-19 cases. Until now, the province has tested 44,370 persons for Covid-19, all of whom tested negative.
 
The province has also ensured that the supply of food and necessities is adequate, the prices of food, meat and others are stable and medical supplies such as masks and disinfectants are available.
 
Previously, Thua Thien-Hue Province had gradually eased social distancing regulations, including allowing the reopening of karaoke and massage parlors as well as bars and restaurants. The Saigon Times reported.
